About Oxadiargyl 6% EC / 80% WP
Oxadiargyl is a highly effective, selective pre- and early post-emergence herbicide used to control broad-leaved weeds, grasses, and sedges in rice, sunflower, and cumin. It acts by inhibiting chlorophyll biosynthesis, causing rapid membrane damage and necrosis. Available in 6% EC and 80% WP formulations, it provides long-lasting, broad-spectrum control.
Oxadiargyl 6% EC (Emulsifiable Concentrate)
- Target Crops: Primarily used in rice, cumin, and onion.
- Application Timing (Rice): Early post-emergence, generally 3-5 days after transplanting (DAT), or up to 14-18 days in other crops.
- Mode of Action: Contact herbicide effective against annual weeds.
Oxadiargyl 80% WP (Wettable Powder)
- Target Crops: Primarily used as a pre-emergence herbicide in transplanted rice and sunflower.
