About Imazamox 35% + Imazethapyr 35% WG
Imazamox 35% + Imazethapyr 35% WG is a broad-spectrum, selective, post-emergence herbicide containing 70% total active ingredient (35% + 35%). Used primarily on soybeans, groundnuts, and pulses (like Cluster bean), it controls broadleaf and grassy weeds by inhibiting the ALS enzyme.
Key Product Information:
- Formulation: Water Dispersible Granules (WG/WDG).
- Mode of Action: Systemic action, absorbed by foliage and roots, inhibiting ALS (Acetolactate synthase) to stop protein synthesis.
- Target Weeds: Echinochloa spp., Digitaria spp., Commelina benghalensis (Dayflower), Euphorbia hirta (Asthma weed), and Amaranthus viridis.
- Recommended Crops: Soybean, Groundnut, Red gram, and Cluster bean.
- Dosage: Approximately 100 grams of product per hectare (100 g/ha).
- Application Method: Use a knapsack sprayer with a flat fan nozzle, ensuring 375500 L/Ha water volume.
- Adjuvant Requirement: It is typically applied with a Methylated Spirit Oil (MSO) adjuvant at 2 ml/liter of water.
