About Dinotefuran 20% SG
Dinotefuran 20% SG is a highly effective, third-generation neonicotinoid systemic insecticide in soluble granule form, designed for fast-acting, long-lasting control of sucking and chewing pests like whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and brown planthoppers. It works via systemic and contact action, including strong translaminar activity to control hidden pests. Common dosages are 50-80 g/acre for rice and cotton.

- Mode of Action: Systemic and contact. It is quickly absorbed by plant roots and leaves, with excellent rainfastness (effective if it rains 3 hours after application).
- Target Pests: Effective against aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leafhoppers, mealybugs, beetles, and brown plant hoppers (BPH).
- Recommended Crops: Widely used on rice, cotton, vegetables, fruits, and pulses.
- Benefits: Provides rapid knockdown and long-lasting protection, reduces the number of sprays required, and controls pests resistant to other molecules.
- Dosage: Generally 5060 g/acre for cotton and 6080 g/acre for rice, using 150-200 litres of water.
- Application Timing: Apply upon the first sign of infestation, with potential repeat applications 7-14 days later if necessary.
