Diclosulam 84% WG (Water Dispersible Granules) is a selective, systemic pre-emergence and early post-emergence herbicide primarily used in soybean and peanut crops to control tough broadleaf weeds and sedges. It works by inhibiting ALS enzymes, offering long-lasting residual control with a low application rate of approximately 12.4 grams per acre.

• Mode of Action: Systemic action; absorbed by roots and shoots of germinating seedlings, inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS), which stops amino acid synthesis and causes weed death.
• Target Crops: Mainly Soybean and Peanut.
• Target Weeds: Effective against broadleaf weeds such as Commelina benghalensis (banana weed), Euphorbia geniculata, Acalypha spp., and sedges like Cyperus spp..
• Application Timing:
  • Pre-emergence: Applied within 2-3 days after sowing.
  • Early Post-emergence: Applied when weeds are at the <3-leaf stage.
• Dosage: The standard recommended dose is 12.4 grams per acre, often used with a surfactant to improve efficacy.
